Users Feature Request: This is a feature request for users who created a CoinTracker account with an email/password or social login want to combo with another login option. For example, you originally created your CoinTracker account with Coinbase and want to use Google as well. At this time, users will need to access their account using the original login method. As a user, what can I do? You can upvote this feedback post to indicate you would like this feature added! The post status will be changed to Complete should we pursue this feature. If you are unable to access your account with the original login method, we recommend creating a new CoinTracker account with the desired method and re-add your wallets and exchanges to the new account. What is the issue? Clicking Upgrade on the plans page returns an error and the upgrade doesn't complete. Managing an existing plan from the same page works normally. What is the workaround? Use Manage plan instead of Upgrade to change your subscription. Contact support if you're still unable to complete the change. You can upvote this post to indicate you are experiencing this behavior. Users Feature Request: Users who create a CoinTracker account with an email/password combo can now change the account email here. However, users who have created their CoinTracker account using a Google, Coinbase, or Apple log in cannot change the account email. This is a feature request to allow them to do so. As a user, what can I do? As a temporary solution for users with Social logins who want to change their email, we recommend users create a new CoinTracker account with the desired email and re-add their wallets and exchanges to the new account. What is the issue? Some users who purchase a CoinTracker plan through the Kraken Tax Flow successfully complete payment, but their CoinTracker account continues to show the Free plan. This typically occurs when the subscription is associated with a second CoinTracker account that was unintentionally created during the Kraken tax flow process.

What is being requested? We’re requesting a feature that allows users to view all devices currently logged into their account, including each device’s last login timestamp, location (if available), and browser/device information. Why is this needed? This enhances account security and transparency. Users can monitor unauthorized access, verify where their account is being used, and take action (e.g., log out specific devices) if suspicious activity is detected. It also aligns with standard security practices used by major platforms. What can users do now? There is currently no way for users to view active sessions or login history. No action is needed. I suggest implementing a countdown feature that alerts users when they have only three sign-in attempts left. This would help users be more cautious and avoid getting locked out of their accounts due to too many incorrect password attempts.

What is the issue? When connecting a CoinTracker account to TurboTax, some users are seeing an error that shares a message that their data could not be auto-filled or an unexpected error while trying to connect (Error 5000). TurboTax currently limits imports to 1,000 capital gain/loss transactions. If your account exceeds this limit, the import may fail. Who is affected? Users who have a high transaction count for the tax year and are trying to connect their CoinTracker account to TurboTax. As a user, what should I do? We’re working with TurboTax to increase this limitation, but in the meantime you can manually add your tax information following this workaround here , or file using one of the other filing options listed on our tax page. You can also upvote this forum post. Once TurboTax has increase this limitation, this report will be updated to Complete . Those who have upvoted will be notified of the update. Currently, I can filter transactions by multiple statuses using an 'and' condition, but it would be beneficial to have the option to filter using an 'or' condition. This would allow for more flexible and comprehensive transaction filtering.
