What is the issue? Some users are unable to generate or download their 2025 tax forms. Clicking Generate All does not produce or download the forms, including Form 8949. This appears to affect accounts with high transaction counts. Who is affected? Users generating 2025 tax forms, primarily those with large transaction volumes. What is the workaround? Contact support and we can generate and provide your forms directly so you're not blocked from filing. You can upvote this post to indicate you are experiencing this behavior. The post status will be changed to Complete once a fix is rolled out to all users. Up-voters will be notified of the status change. My Total Capital Gains are currently showing as A$10.46 million in short-term trades, which is completely inaccurate. I have never made trades anywhere near this amount and, most importantly, I have never held anywhere close to A$10 million in crypto assets. My investment strategy has primarily been to buy and hold crypto, and I did not sell any cryptocurrency during the last financial year. Therefore, I do not understand how A$10.46 million in short-term capital gains could have been calculated. I have also reviewed my transaction history and noticed several transactions that I do not recognise. Initially, I assumed these might have been staking rewards, but given the other discrepancies I am now questioning whether these transactions are accurate as well. There also appears to be a major issue with my Cardano (ADA) holdings. The platform is currently showing -A$18,115,081.44 in all-time unrealised gains. This is clearly incorrect, as I have never owned anywhere near enough Cardano to generate figures of this magnitude.

Bug Report: Tax Setting Locked When Transactions Are Frozen What is the issue? The "Treat Liquidity Pool Transactions as Non-Taxable" setting in Tax Settings becomes uneditable when transactions are frozen for the relevant tax year. A "There was an error while updating your setting." message appears. Who is affected? Users who have frozen transactions and wish to update this tax setting. What is the workaround? Users can temporarily unfreeze the tax year to make changes to the setting, then re-freeze after adjustments. What is the issue? After migrating from Universal to Per-Wallet cost basis tracking, HIFO lot selection on certain ETH transfers/disposals may pull from lower-cost lots (e.g. 2022 purchases) instead of the expected higher-cost lots (e.g. 2024 purchases) in the same wallet. This appears to be caused by ETH lots being reassigned to wallet locations that don't match the underlying transfer history during migration. Who is affected? US users who have completed the Universal → Per-Wallet migration and hold ETH across multiple wallets/exchanges (e.g. Coinbase plus external wallets). Symptom: HIFO cost basis on a post-migration ETH disposal is lower than expected and 8949 gains/losses don't match the user's manual calculations. # What is the workaround? Users Feature Request: CoinTracker provides a detailed Capital Gain/Loss report in the form of a CSV file, following the UK's share pool accounting requirements . Provide: More detailed forms or the actual HMRC forms to be generated (similar to how CoinTracker generates IRS forms in the United States). Better tagging options for UK tagging. What is being requested? Improve the consistency and accuracy of Tax Loss Harvesting (TLH) suggestions when wallets on CoinTracker are missing transactions activity. Specifically: Ensure TLH wallet balances match the transaction page balances. Warn users about transaction history errors that may impact TLH recommendations. Why is this needed? Users rely on TLH recommendations to make tax-efficient trades. However, inconsistencies between TLH wallet balances and transaction page balances create confusion and potential inaccuracies.. A warning system would help users avoid acting on incomplete data. What can users do now? Users must manually verify balances on the transactions page before following TLH recommendations. I am unable to upload the 1099-DA for my SoFi Wallet on CoinTracker. It would be beneficial if CoinTracker could support the SoFi Wallet, allowing me to upload and manage my 1099-DA forms seamlessly.

In Croatia, capital gains from cryptocurrency are exempt from tax if more than 24 months have passed since the original purchase with fiat currency. It would be beneficial if CoinTracker could correctly track and calculate this 24-month holding period for Croatian tax reporting purposes, especially in situations where crypto assets are exchanged for other cryptocurrencies, while preserving the original acquisition date.

I am trying to upload my 1099-DA tax forms from Venmo and eToro to CoinTracker, but I can't find an option to add these forms. It would be beneficial if CoinTracker could support uploading tax forms from these platforms to streamline the process.
